Ping Nam Stream Trail is a part of WILSON Trail

Wilson Trail Section 10

In Sha Tau Kok

It’s Short and Easy Trail 

Distance 7 km 

Duration 5hrs 

How to Go to Ping Nam Stream.

From Fanling Station 

for KMB bus 78k Fanling Exit A2

Get off Nam Chung Stop

for Mini Bus Fanling Exit C green mini bus 56k

Get Off Nam Chung Village near restaurant and Public toilet 

Clean water with deep pools

Good for cliff jump Better if you go after rain 

 

Gett off At Nam Chung bus stop ( 78k )

 

Walk To Right hand side road

 

( luk Keng Road )

Walk on luk Keng Road it’s 30 minutes walk to Stream

There is a nice view on your left 

Keep walk till Restaurant 

Here is restaurant on right hand side 

Don’t turn Left but keep walk straight to

Wilson Trail Section 10

There is sign mentioned Wilson Trail near pavilion 

By Mini Bus get Off here near Restaurant and Pavilion 

Mini bus last stop is also not very far

After 10 minutes walk there is another pavilion and public toilets 

Keep walk straight until you reached the Dam

From pavilion 10 minutes walk for Dam

Don’t Try to Jump fence 

Climb on the right near fence 

Then head left at the top with railing 

Here you go right up then turn left follow the trail which is going down

Warning signs board also there 

And the ribbon 

Dam fence to stream is just 50 meters 

Which is very short

Once when you entered the stream 

Walk through rocks climb up and follow Stream & Ribbon 

You can walk on the rock following stream 

First Small Pool 

From first small pool 

Keep Walk up with Stream from right side

Be careful of slippery 

Another Pool where you can swim 

Or pass feom left side following the ribbon 

Hula Skirt Falls (草裙瀑布)

Unlucky when we went there not much water

Better go after rain

There is big Pool where you can take rest and swimming 

You can pass it from both side left and right

But left will be easier

Another fall which is called twin falls 

Pass is from right 

Then climb right up from another fall

For exit stream 

Climb on right ( rock climb) 

Last Pool which is not deep but very clean 

Next there is concrete bridge going over to stream 

that is NAM CHUNG COUNTRY TRAIL 

Right up from bridge for exit Nam Chung country trail

To bus stop go back same way
