West Dog's Teeth , Kau Nga Ling to Lantau Peak Hike

This trail is absolutely not for beginners.

Duration: (7.5 kilometers) 4.5 hours

Difficulty: 8/10. 

 if you are afraid of heights, not a good one for you!

Cell phone coverage: Everywhere

Water needs: 1.5 liter

Transportation: 

MTR to Tung Chung, Exit B

then bus 11 or 23 . 

Get off at "Shek Pik Police Station" (police stand)

get off from bus at Police Stand stop

the stop is near Dam which will be on right of bus

walk 2 mint backward from your bus came

country park 

about 500m you will arrived country park 

cross the barrier and walk to bridge ( canal )

next to bridge there is only one trail

which mention SHEK PIK COUNTRY TRAIL

walk on the trail to stairs going up

walk one hour on the trail

after 1hr you will get these sings 

on your right climb up here and

the dam will be on your left

keep climb up there is no more trail

no chance to loose your way once you 

beautiful landscape

next take your left 

pass kau nga ling and start climb to

HADES' WALL

go to left down and then climb up 

dades' wall to the bird rock

before to bird rock there is trail on left

which is going down

don't go down pass the rock and keep climb up to 

SUNSET PEAK

after the bird rock you will arrive to junction

the trail is going up to lantau peak which is not far

and left of junction trail going to down

we went to the summit 

and back to this junction for exit trail

after taking some pictures time to go back

exit to ngong ping

Return via bus at Big Buddha or via cable car to Tung Chung.
